Dermal Fillers and Anti-Wrinkle Injections - How Many Do You Need and How Much Will They Cost You?

If only we had a dollar for every time we were asked these two questions. It is completely natural to try and anticipate the cost before committing to a treatment or even consultation. As human beings, we work towards budgets, so asking these questions is completely understandable. The issue is, it is impossible to answer these questions without a consultation which allows us to establish what you are trying to achieve.

Each and every person is different, so there are variables that we have to take into account, such as what your current budget is, what your desired outcome looks like and the current amount of muscle movement or volume loss. Once we have established these key points, we are then able to give you a fee structure and guide your expectations.

I don't know much about dermal fillers, so how will I know how much I want?

At The Skin Boutique we firmly believe in simply enhancing your natural assets and achieving a natural balance to your face. This is why we don't recommend focusing treatment on only one area of the face as it can throw your natural balance off and make your 'enhancements' very obvious - think big lips and volume-less cheeks, it just doesn't work!

This is why it's so important to seek out the best cosmetic injector. They are treating your most important asset, your face. It's not something you can hide so you want to ensure that they do a great job. This isn't a good time to bargain hunt, when it comes to such important decisions, spending a little bit extra will go a long way!

How long can I expect results to last?

Anti-wrinkle injections will generally last 3-6 months, whereas fillers can last anywhere from 12-18 months. If you maintain your fillers with smaller doses in between, they will last even longer!

As we outlined earlier, the most important thing to consider is who is doing the injecting and what their results look like. Ask to see before and afters, enquire about their experience and most of all, ensure you feel comfortable with them. You want to feel like they are listening to your concerns and are involved in the process. This is why we pride ourselves on the team we've build, lead by Dr. Andrew Haig - qualified from the University of London and a fellow of both the Australasian and Royal College of Emergency Medicine. We aim to deliver the most natural looking treatment, ensuring you're in the safest hands possible.
